Sam Ryser
Sam Ryser is a visual artist and musician living and working in New York City. For over a decade, Ryser has played in, and designed art for, numerous punk bands and record labels, leaving an unmistakable visual mark on an international DIY underground. This work culminated in the publication of Welcome to Dripper World: Sound and Vision by Sam Ryser (Sacred Bones, 2019), the first collection of Ryser's work named after the art and oddities shop that Sam owned and operated in Bushwick, Brooklyn from 2014 to 2019. With bands Crazy Spirit and Dawn of Humans, Ryser has toured extensively through the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia, and he has shown his work in the US, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
